In addition, there is a competent corps of Lecturers, Demonstrators, and Assistants. This University is the oldest School of Medicine in the Southwest and numbers four thousand, four hundred and three physicians among its graduates. The curriculum for the coming session includes twenty-three lecture courses, each followed by a thorough review quiz, seven laboratory courses, covering the experimental side of Medicine and Surgery, and three hours of clinical work daily at the University Dispensary and the Nashville Hospital.

A four years' graded course. Is a member of the Asso-
ciation of Southern Medical Colleges. Requires a preliminary
examination before matriculation. Maintains a high standard
of scholarship. Has an excellent corps of Professors, Lec-
turers and Demonstrators.

Possesses a fine, commodious brick building, situated a half block
from the intersection of all the principal street car lines; con-
sequently in the center of the city and the field of clinical material.
A free dispensary maintained by the College gives unusual clinical
advantages. Four hospitals and private sanitariums, under the
charge of the professors, with a capacity of 300 beds, affords fine
hospital and bedside instruction.
