A farmer's wife sells:-(a) 52 dozen eggs, at the rate of 10 for 1s. ; (6) 6 couple of chickens, at 3s. 3d. each ; (c) 12 lbs. butter, at Is. 7d. per lb.; (d) 2 cwt. 2 qrs. 1.25 lbs. of cheese, at 56s. per cwt. Make out a bill showing how much she has received. Show the working of (d) at length. Ans. £10 10s. 3.d.
