A Practical Contribution.-On the day following the earthquake at San Francisco, Borden's Condensed Milk Co. contributed and had under way to the devastated city, from one of their Pacific Coast factories, two carloads of condensed milk and cream, aggregating 50,000 cans, the value of which was more than $5,000. Speaking of milk, the three page illustrated article which appears in the April 26 issue of Leslie's Weekly, relating to the methods employed in the production of the products of Borden's Condensed Milk Co., is a story which one should read who is interested in the problem of pure food.

An Unusual Window Display.-"The Home of Wine of Cardui." The Wine of Cardui people are now putting out a Window Display which is attracting much attention. In addition to being most beautiful and pleasing to the eye, it has an instructive interest in that it pictures with remarkable reality, one of the most famous historic and scenic situations in America. The display is in the form of a cut-out measuring 30x40 inches. Handsomely lithographed in ten colors, it shows a bird's-eye view of Lookout Mountain and the Tennessee River, winding like a great serpent around the old battlegrounds of Chattanooga-now an active manufacturing city. In the distance are Missionary Ridge and Chickamauga.

The large factories, laboratories and office buildings of the Chattanooga Medicine Co. appear in the foreground, just at the foot of Lookout Mountain.

The advertising on this display is not intrusive, but sufficient in clearness and strength to be very effectivę. The concave surface of the actual view allows the light to reach the picture from above, the realistic effect of which must be seen to be appreciated.

The Chattanooga Medicine Co. sends this strong window display free of charge, with each order for a gross lot of their medicines.
