AN ACT

To create a Civil Aeronautics Authority, and to promote the development and

safety and to provide for the regulation of civil aeronautics. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That this Act, divided into titles and sections according to the following table of contents, may be cited as the "Civil Aeronautics Act of 1938":
