bench for or in refpect of the faid Ann, and
from and after the feveral deceafes of the faid
Humphrey Greg and Am Kea, to the use of the
firft, fecond, and all other the fon and fons of
the faid Humphrey Greg, on the body of the faid
Ann begotten, in tail, to take according to the
feniority of age of fuch fon and fons fucceffively,
and for want of fuch iffue male, to the use of the
faid Humphrey Greg, his heirs and affigns for ever,
as in and by the faid articles, relation being
thereunto had, may more fully and at large ap-
pear; And whereas the marriage between the
faid Humphrey Greg and Ann Kea took effect, and The marriage
was duly had and folemnized, and the faid Ann,
the wife of the said Humphrey Greg, afterwards
died, leaving the faid Humphrey Greg the huf
band, and the faid Humphrey Greg the younger,
the eldest fon of the faid marriage her furviving;
And whereas before any furrender was made by
the faid Humphrey Greg of the faid copy hold
premiffes to the uses of the faid marriage arti-
cles in pursuance of the faid covenant, on the
part of the faid Humphrey Greg therein in that
behalf contained, the most noble Francis, duke
of Bridgwater, lord of the faid manor of Whit-
church, by certain indentures of lease and release,
bearing date refpectively the 24th and 25th
days of September, which was in the year of our

Lord 1762, and made or mentioned to be made between him the faid Duke of the one part, and the faid Humphrey Greg of the other part, did for the purpose of enfranchifing the faid copyhold or customary premiffes, and releafing and extinguishing the feveral rents, hereditaments, and fervices due and of right accustomed in refpect thereof, and for the confideration of feventy-four pounds and ten fhillings therein mentioned to be paid by the faid Humphrey Greg to the faid Duke, grant, release, and confirm unto the faid Humphrey Greg and his heirs, (among other things) all that the faid cufomary meffuage or tenement and lands herein before mentioned to be situate, lying, and being in Afbparva aforefaid, within the faid manor of Whitchurch, and held of the faid manor, and comprized in the faid hereinbefore in part recited marriage articles, and therein covenanted to be furrendered (among other things) by the faid Humphrey Greg, in manner beforementioned, with their and every of their appurtenances, and the reverfion and reverfions, remainder and remainders, heriots, iffues and profits, of all and fingular the faid premiffes, and all the eftate, right, title, intereft, ufe, truft, property, claim and demand whatfoever, of him the faid Duke, of, in, or to the faid copyhold or customary premiffes, every or any part or parcel thereof, to hold the fame unto and to the ufe of the faid Humprey Greg, his heirs and affigns for ever, freed,

freed, enfranchised, and abfolutely discharged
of and from all rents, yearly and other pay-
ments, fines, heriots, fuits, and services whatfo-
ever, by ufage, cuftom, prefcription, or other-
wife howfoever, except as therein is excepted:

between the faid Humphrey Greg the younger, of
the first part; the faid Arthur Green and Peter
Greg, of the fecond part; the faid Ralph Collet
and Abraham Darlin, of Afton Juxta Maudrun, in
the parish of Acton, in the faid county of Chester,
gentleman, fince deceased, of the third part;
the faid Benjamin Darlin the younger, and Randle
Greg, of the fourth part; and the faid Beujamin
Darlin the elder, and the faid Mary the wife of
the faid Humphrey Greg, by the name and de-
fcription of Mary Darlin, only daughter of the
faid Benjamin Darlin the elder, of the 5th part;
in confideration of a marriage then intended,

and which hath fince been duly had and folem. nized between the faid Humprey Greg the younger, and the faid Mary Darlin, and for other the contiderations therein mentioned, the faid meffuage, or tenement and lands, herein before particularly mentioned and comprized in the faid hereinbefore in part recited marriage articles, and in the faid indenture of releafe now in recital, more fully defcribed with their and every of their appurtenances, were (among other meffuages, lands, and hereditaments therein mentioned) granted and conveyed by the faid Humphrey Greg the younger, unto and to the ufe of the faid Arthur Green and Peter Greg, and their heirs and affigns for ever, upon the trufts, and to and for the feveral ufes, intents, and purposes therein and hereinafter mentioned, that is to fay, to the use and behoof of the faid Humphrey Greg the younger, and his heirs, until the folemnization of the faid then intended marriage, and from and immediately after the fame then to the ufe and behoof of the faid Humphrey Greg the younger, and his affigns for and during the term of his natural life, without impeachment of or for any manner of wafte; and from and after the determination of that eftate to the ufe of the faid Arthur Green and Peter Greg, and their heirs, upon trust to preferve the contingent remainders during the life of the faid Humphrey Greg the younger, and from and after his deceafe to the ufe and behoof of the faid Ralph Collet and Abraham Darlin, their executors,

executors, adminiftrators, and affigns, for the term of ninety-nine years, if the the faid Mary Darlin fhould fo long live, to commence and be computed from the time of the decease of the faid Humphrey Greg the younger, in truft and to the intent and purpose that they the faid Ralph Collet and Abraham Darlin, and the furvivor of them, and the executors, adminiftrators and affigns of fuch furvivor fhould yearly and every year during fo many years of the said ninetynine years as should run out and expire in the life-time of the faid Mary Darlin, by and out of the rents, iffues, and profits, of all and fingular the premiffes, raife, levy, and receive one annuity or clear yearly rent charge of twenty-five pounds, clear of all deductions whatsoever, to be paid to her the faid Mary Darlin and her af-· figns, for and during the term of her natural life for her jointure, and in bar of dower, with power of entry and diftrefs in failure of payment, in manner therein mentioned, and subject thereto, then to the use and behoof of the faid Benjamin Darlin the younger, and Randle Greg, their executors, adminiftrators and affigns, for the term of five hundred years, to commence and be computed from the time of the decease. of the faid Humphrey Greg the younger, upon truft to raise portions for younger children, in fuch manner, and in such cases and events, and fubject to fuch provifoes and conditions as therein is mentioned, and from and immediately after
