Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly, That the Auditor of Auditor to isPublic Accounts is hereby directed to issue a warrant sue his waron the Treasurer, on the order of the county commissioners' court of Johnson county, for the sum of two hundred and twenty dollars; the money, when received, shall be placed in the treasury of the county, and shall be under the control of the county commissioners' court, to be applied to such internal improvements, as they may deem proper. orized to re SEC. 2. The said treasurer of Johnson county shall, Treasurer of upon the warrant mentioned in the first section of this county auth act, apply for and receive the amount for which it may be drawn, and safely keep the same, as other funds be- ceive money longing to said county; and said treasurer shall be responsible for said money, so drawn from the State Treasury, on his treasurer's bond given to said county. SEC. 3. The money received under the provisions of this act, shall be appropriated by the commissioners' Treasurer re. sponsible court of said county of Johnson, to the improvement of Fund how to the ponds on that part of the state road leading from be appropria Wilcox's ferry on the Ohio river to Vienna; and after ted this improvement is made, in good and substantial manner, the balance of money, if any, may be appropriated by said court to such county purposes as to the said court may seem expedient and proper.
