Prof. Marion Keim directs the Interdisciplinary Centre of Excellence for Sports Sciences and Development at University of the Western Cape. She is a founder and the Chairperson of the Western Cape Network for Community Peace and Development, Training Advisor for Women for Peace Western Cape and an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa, certified in Mediation and Sports Law. She is a member of the National Advisory Committee for Sport and Recreation and of the Eminent Person?s Group for Sport and Transformation, for the Minister of Sport and Recreation, South Africa.

Prof. Christo de Coning is both a Professor Extraordinaire at the Faculty of Community and Health Sciences (University of the Western Cape) and at the School of Public Leadership (University of Stellenbosch). He is a contract researcher at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Sport Science and Development (ICESSD) at UWC. He is an elected Board Member of the South African Monitoring and Evaluation Association (SAMEA) from 2011 to 2014 and serves on the Standing Committee with SAMEA & DPME in the SA Presidency.
