11. SEC. XI. An Act to appropriate money to pay D. B. Sanford, to bring up the unfinished business of the late Clerk of the Supreme Court, R. E. Martin, deceased.

WHEREAS, R. E. Martin, late Clerk of the Supreme Court of this State, died insolvent, or nearly so; and whereas, the Administrator of the said R. E. Martin, with the approval of the Supreme Court, did agree with, and employ D. B. Sanford, who was, at and before that time, a Clerk in Martin's office, to bring up such part, or so much of the unfinished business, as the said Administrator could Preamble. pay for out of the estate of his intestate, and whereas, the said Administrator was compelled to cease said stipulated payment, on account of the exhaustion of the assets of the estate, and whereas, & large amount of business remains yet unfinished, and it is indispensably necessary that it should be done, therefore,
