Chapter 130.

Resolve in favor of Frank W. Colby.

Resolved, that there be paid out of the state treasury to Frank W. Colby of Augusta, the sum of sixty-eight dollars and ten cents for disbursements made by him in defense of a suit brought against him for acts committed in the line of his duty, as an agent appointed by the governor to enforce the provisions of the revised statutes relative to cruelty.

Resolved, that there be and is appropriated the sum of six hundred and twenty-three dollars and seventy-eight cents to be paid to H. P. McKenney of Jackman, Maine, for board of men fighting fire in the fall of nineteen hundred and eight.

Resolved, that the state of Maine reimburse John R. McDonald, steamboat inspector, to the amount of ninety-six dollars, the same being for team in the year nineteen hundred and seven, incurred by him in the performance of his duty as state inspector of steam vessels during the above named year.

Senatorial districts.

Chapter 133.

Resolve dividing the State into Senatorial Districts.

Resolved, that for the seventy-sixth legislature and the succeeding legislatures to, and including that of the year nineteen hundred and twenty-one, the state be, and hereby is, divided into sixteen districts for the choice of senators, and each district shall be entitled to elect the number of senators herein provided, in the manner prescribed by the constitution.

The county of York shall form the first district, and be entitled to elect three senators.

The county of Cumberland shall form the second district, and be entitled to elect four senators.

The county of Oxford shall form the third district, and be entitled to elect one senator.

The county of Androscoggin shall form the fourth district, and be entitled to elect two senators.

The county of Franklin shall form the fifth district, and be entitled to elect one senator.

The county of Sagadahoc shall form the sixth district, and be entitled to elect one senator.

The county of Kennebec shall form the seventh district, and be entitled to elect three senators.

The county of Somerset shall form the eighth district, and be entitled to elect two senators.

The county of Piscataquis shall form the ninth district, and be entitled to elect one senator.

The county of Penobscot shall form the tenth district, and be entitled to elect three senators.

The county of Lincoln shall form the eleventh district, and be entitled to elect one senator.

The county of Knox shall form the twelfth district, and be entitled to elect one senator.

The county of Waldo shall form the thirteenth district, and be entitled to elect one senator.

The county of Hancock shall form the fourteenth district, and be entitled to elect two senators.

The county of Washington shall form the fifteenth district, and be entitled to elect two senators.

The county of Aroostook shall form the sixteenth district, and be entitled to elect three senators.

Resolved, that the town of Buxton be reimbursed for taxes paid into the state treasury for the years nineteen hundred and eight and nineteen hundred and nine to the amount of eight hundred and forty-eight dollars and forty-eight cents on excessive valuation.

Resolve providing for the payment of Certain Deficiencies accrued prior to January one, nineteen hundred and eleven.
