JOINT RESOLUTION of the two Houses, authorizing the Fund
Commissioner to appoint an agent.

WHEREAS, doubts have arisen, as to the power of the Fund
commissioner to appoint an agent to act for him in bond- Preamble.

Resolved, And declared by the House of Representatives,
the Senate concurring herein, that the Fund commissioner

be, and he is hereby authorized to appoint an agent with full Fund Com'r power to act for him in this behalf, confirming the obligation to appoint of such bonds as have been signed by the agent, or hereafter may be signed, and to do all other acts respecting the railroad iron which the Fund commissioner could legally do, as such agent of the Fund commissioner.
