П 4421 2551 1984 The primary purpose for revision of COMDTINST M16672.2 is to incorporate the amendments into 72 COLREGS and delete the italicized material which was superseded on 1 June 1983. This will make the Rules easier to read. Other minor changes to the publication were made. Some of these are the addition of two pictures following Rule 24(d), inclusion of interpretative rules, the insertion of minor amendments to the Vessel Bridge-to-Bridge Radiotelephone Regulations, and creation of a new legal citations page just before the conversion table at the end of the book. ORDERING INFORMATION. a. b. Following initial distribution of this publication, units may request additional copies by sending a completed form CG-4428 to Commandant (G-CMA-3). Once the supply at Headquarters is exhausted, units must procure the book directly from the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) using unit funds. A COMDTNOTE will follow publication of this book with price and GPO stock number when they become available. This publication is not available for free issue to the public.
