NOTE. For convenience of reference these statutes are arranged, as to subject-matter, under the same chapter headings and titles as those in the Greater New York Charter. Acts which do not appropriately belong under the headings and titles mentioned, will be found under the title of "Miscellaneous." In cases where the titles of the acts did not sufficiently indicate the subject-matter, further explanatory words have been inserted in brackets. To acts which have been superseded by or revised into the Greater New York Charter, or relate to the same subject-matter, the sections of the charter have been appended. Temporary and private acts are, of course, omitted.
