H Y M N The Epiphany. HE E reigns ! the Lord our Saviour reigns ! Praise him in evangelick Strains ! SA Alvation ! O the joyful Sound ! What Pleasure to our Ears ! A Cordial for our Fears. Buried in Sorrow, and in Sin, At Hell's dark Door we lay! Oh Oh may we rise by Grace divine, To see a heavn'ly Day! Salvation ! let the Eccho Ay The spacious Earth around, While all the Armies of the Sky Conspire to raise the Sound. Η Υ Μ Ν CLXXXII. Η Ε Α Υ Ε Ν. A RISE, my Soul, arise, And view th’Almighty's Throne, Humble and joyful lift thine Eyes To Lands of Peace unknown. Clad in a shining Cloud, The great Creator God. My dear Redeemer stands, He spreads his wounded Hands. He reigns triumphant now, Sits glorious on his Brow. After their noble strife, Dear Dear Jesus, and thall I, E'er in these Courts adore : O seal me this before I Die, And, Lord, I ask no more. Η Υ Μ Ν CLXXXIII. Moses Dying in the Embraces of God. D EATH cannot make our Souls afraid, If God be with us there, And never yield to Fear. Might we but climb.to Pisgah's Top, And view the promis'd Land; And pray for the Command. We would forget our Breath, among the Charms Of so divine a Death. Η Υ Μ Ν CLXXXIV. Paradice on Earth. G? YLORY to God that walks the Sky, And sends his Bledings thro', That tells his Saints of Joys on high, And gives a taste below. When When Chrift, with all his Graces crown'd, Sheds his kind Beams abroad, 'Tis a young Heay'n on earthly Ground, And Glory in the Bud. But ah! how foon our Joys decay, How soon our Sins arife, From these lamenting Eyes. The shining Day appear; And Guilt and Darkness here. Before the Summons come, And pray and wish our Souls away To their eternal Home, H Y M N CLXXXV, A Funeral Thought, HARK ! from the Tomb a doleful sounu, Our Ears attend the Cry, Where you must shortly lie. In spite of all your Tow'rs; Must lie as low as Ours. Great Great God! is this our certain Doom? And are we ftill secure ? And yet prepare no more. To fit our Souls to fly; We'll rise above the Sky.
