TREASURER'S OFFICE, BOSTON, To the Honorable Senate and House of Representatives : : The undersigned has the honor herewith to submit to the legislature his Fifth and last Annual Report of the operations of his department for the year ending December 31, 1860, covering the receipts into and payments from the Treasury for said year. To which he has added a statement of the sums allowed and unpaid January 1, 1861, as required by chapter 1, of Acts of 1858. A statement in detail has also been appended of the condition of the several funds in his custody up to January 1, 1861. All which he hopes will prove satisfactory, and is respectfully submitted.
