To the General Assembly of the State of Illinois :

I have the honor to submit herewith the following report of the business transacted in the office of the Auditor of Public Accounts, beginning December 1, 1862, and ending November 30, 1864, containing:

1. A statement of 1eceipts and expenditures, showing the amount of revenue receive', applicable to the payment of the ordinary and contingent expenses of the State government, and the amount disbursed.

2. A general statement of wariants drawn on the treasury for all purposes.

3. A detailed statement of warrants drawn on the treasury, and to what account and appropriation charged.

4. A statement of the amount of wurants outstanding unredeemed, December 1, 1864.

5. A statement of the redemption money received from minor heirs, and due the owners of tax deeds.

6. A statement of the condition of the school, college and sen inary funds.

7. A statement of State bonds redeemed under the Governor's procla mation of September 28, 1863, and paid for with the Central Railroad fund.

8. A statement of State indebtedness purchased by the Governor with the Central Railroad fund.

9. A statement of State indebtedness paid at par, with the Central Railroad fund, under the provisions of the act of the Legislature, approved February 22, 1861, canceled and deposited in this office. 10. A statement of the accounts of the State Treasurer with the several State funds.

11 and 12. Statements of real and personal property assessed and taxed for the years 1862 and 1863.

13 and 14. Statement of the taxes charged in the several counties, amounts collected, &c., for the years 1862 and 1863.

15 and 16. Statement of the school tax fund for the years 1862 and 1863.

17. A statement of the dividends of the school tax and interest funds for the years 1862 and 1863.

18 to 23 inclusive. The several statements and tables exhibiting the condition and affairs of the banks of the State organized under the provisions of the general banking law.
