I. v. 222. πρὶν ἰδέειν. Explain the degree of latitude with which the Greek writers use the different tenses of the infinitive mood. Is there any difference between the usage of piv with a subjunctive and with an infinitive?

II. 226. How is the quantity of the second syllable in περιλιχμάτο accounted for? Show from a comparison with words at all similar in their composition, whether there is any method of remedying the apparent defect.
