These Arithmetics provide an excellent variety of work from which the teacher can choose according to the requirements of his or her school. Each Scholars' Book has its corresponding Teachers' Book which contains the Sums on one side, and their Answers on the other, together with well graduated Mental Arithmetic Exercises and Black Board Work, dealing with the Proving of Sums, the Metric System, etc.

Clearly printed on appropriate Coloured Cards in seven different packets for the Seven Standards. Each packet contains 40 Cards and complete Answer Book. 1/3 net.

The distinctive characteristics of these Cards is that they provide an abundance of varied and intelligent questions in the Arithmetic of everyday life. The work of the year for each Class is arranged in three terms. Each test consists of eight problems, including well-chosen back work in all Standards except the first. The monotony of ordinary Arithmetical Calculations is relieved by Plan Drawing and Ruler-Work which interests and increases the intelligence of the children. The Metric System, Land Surveying, Mensuration and Literal Arithmetic receive full attention.
