The Rules were suspended and Mr. Decker presented Counci Joint Resolution and Memorial No. 7, which was read and adopted.

Mr. Niblack presented a petition from the Bank of Navina, which was filed.

The Committee on Enrolled and Engrossed Bills reported Council Bill No. 154 correctly engrossed, and Council Bill No. 23 correctly enrolled; report adopted.

On motion by Mr. Niblack, the Council adjourned.

The Council was called to order by the President.

Prayer was offered by the Chaplain.

All members were present, except Mr. Sharrock, who was excused.
The Journal of the preceding day was read and approved.

The following Bill was read the second time and referred to the Judiciary Committee: Council Bill No. 157, by Mr. Decker.

Council Bill No. 115 was read for the third time and placed on its final passage. The question being, "Shall the Bill pass," the roll was called and the vote resulted as follows:

Ayes: Alexander, Cralle, Decker, Francis, Hickam, Menefee, Mur phy, Niblack, Scott, Threadgill, Woodson, Mr. President, 12; absent: Sharrock, 1.

The title of the Bill was agreed to.
