A petition of sundry merchants of the city of Philadelphia, in the State of Pennsyl vania, whose names are thereunto subscribed, was presented to the House and read, praying that the time may be extended for taking the oath and giving bond in cases of goods exported for drawback. Ordered, That the said petition be committed to the Committee of the Whole House to whom was committed, on the twentieth instant, the bill "to extend the time of taking the oath and giving bond in cases of drawback, and for other purposes.” A petition of sundry inhabitants of the counties of Onondaga, Cayuga, and Seneca, in the State of New York, whose names are thereunto subscribed, was presented to the House and read, praying that a cross post route may be established from Onondaga, by Pompey, to Tully; thence, by Homer, Virgil, and Dryden, to intersect the post office in Ithaca, at the head of the Cayuga Lake.
