The American Descendants of Chrétien Du Bois of Wicres, France, Volumer 1-2Huguenot Historical Society, 1968 Jacques Du Bois (1628-ca. 1677), a Huguenot, immigrated to The Nether- lands, and married Pierrone Bentyn at Leyden. They immigrated in 1675 to Esopus (now Kingston), New York. Descendants lived throughout the United States and elsewhere.
