I consider the work of Thy fingers. Ps. viii. 3.
ALL things praise Thee-Lord most A high,
Heaven and earth, and sea and sky; All were for Thy glory made,
That Thy greatness, thus displayed, Should all worship bring to Thee; All things praise Thee: Lord, may we.
2 All things praise Thee-night to night Sing in silent hymns of light; All things praise Thee-day to day Chants Thy power in burning ray; Time and space are praising Thee, All things praise Thee: Lord, may we.
3 All things praise Thee-high and low, Rain, and dew, and seven-hued bow, Crimson sunset, fleecy cloud, Rippling stream, and tempest loud, Summer, winter,-all to Thee Glory render: Lord, may we.
All things were made by Him. John i. 3.
ALL things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small, All things wise and wonderful, The Lord God made them all.
2 Each little flower that opens, Each little bird that sings, He made their glowing colours, He made their tiny wings.
3 The rich man in his castle,
The poor man at the gate, God made them, high or lowly, And ordered their estate.
4 The purple-headed mountain, The river running by, The sunset, and the morning That brightens up the sky.
3 I sing the goodness of the Lord,
That filled the earth with food; He formed the creatures with His word, And then pronounced them good.
4 There's not a plant or flower below But makes Thy glories known; And clouds arise, and tempests blow By order from Thy throne.
5 Creatures, as numerous as they be, Are subject to Thy care;
There's not a place where we can flec, But God is present there.
6 His hand is my perpetual guard, He guides me with His eye; Why should I, then, forget the Lord, Who is for ever nigh?
2 There's not a sin that we commit, Nor wicked word we say,
But in Thy dreadful book 'tis writ, Against the judgment day.
3 And must the crimes that I have done Be read and published there, Be all exposed before the sun, While men and angels hear?
4 Lord, at Thy feet ashamed I lie, Upward I dare not look; Pardon my sins before I die, And blot them from Thy book.
5 Remember all the dying pains That my Redeemer felt; And let His blood wash out my stains, And answer for my guilt.
60 may I now for ever fear
To indulge a sinful thought;
Since the great God can see and hear, And writes down every fault.
3 Ho bids the sun to warm us,
And light the path we tread;
At night, lest aught should harm us, He guards our welcome bed.
4 He gives our needful clothing, And sends our daily food; His love denies us nothing His wisdoin deemeth good.
The Bible, too, He sends us, That tells how Jesus came,
Whose word can save and cleanse us From guilt and sin and shame.
6 O may God's mercies move us To serve Him with our powers; For oh, how He m. st love us, And this poor world of ours!
God said, Let there be light.-Gen. i. 3.
THEN o'er earth is breaking
Rosy light, and fair,
Morn afar proclaimeth Sweetly,-God is there.
2 When the spring is wreathing Flowers rich and rare, On each leaf is written,- Nature's God is there.
3 When the storm is howling Through the midnight air, Fearfully its thunder Tells us God is there.
4 All the wide world's treasures, Rich, or grand, or fair, In each feature beareth Graven,-God is there.
