[Only two copies are recorded in the S. T. C. (British Museum and Bodleian). Only Books i.-ii. were published. The volume has two dedications: the first to Charles, Prince of Wales, in verse, signed with the author's name; the second in Spanish. John Abbot retired to the Continent after embracing the Catholic religion, and in 1623 was a member of the Convent of St. John the Baptist at Antwerp.]
