L., 854-862), has been given jurisdiction to hear and determine controversies as to titles to lands situated in the territory acquired from Mexico, by virtue of Spanish and Mexican grants; and to issue decrees which shall finally settle and determine the validity of such titles and the boundaries of claims presented for adjudication.
