He married Catharine, daughter of Thomas, Lord Viscount Bulkeley, and had issue three children, who died infants; and was succeeded in his estates by his only sister, Sidney, the wife of Edward Thelwall of Plas y Ward, whose eldest daughter and heiress, Jane, became the wife, in 1689, of Sir William Williams of Llanvordav, Bart., High Sheriff for co.
