This volume contains the Judiciary Statutes of the United States and the Rules of the Supreme Court regulating the practice and procedure in the various federal courts, with full notes of the decisions of those courts construing such Statutes and Rules. It also contains a register of all the judges, district attorneys, marshals, and clerks of the United States Courts. The authors entered upon the preparation of the work with the conviction that something of the kind was much needed by the profession, and they cherish the hope that it will be found convenient and useful to the Bench and the Bar of this country.
