CHAPTER 131. REGISTRY AS PHARMACIST. AN ACT to Amend Section Six (6), of Chapter 121, of the Laws of 1887. Be it Enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the Territory of Dakota: § 1. AMENDMENT.] That section 6, of chapter 121, of the General Laws of 1887, be and the same is hereby amended by striking out the words "Within three months" where they occur therein. $ 2. EFFECT WHEN.] This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval. Approved, February 4, 1889. CHAPTER 132. TREES AND HEDGES ON HIGHWAYS. AN ACT Entitled "An Act to Amend Section 47, of Chapter 29, Political Code." Be it Enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the Territory of Dakota: § 1. TREES ADDED.] That Section forty-seven, of Chapter twenty-nine, of the Political Code, be and the same is hereby amended by inserting in the first line of said section after the word "hedge" the words "or trees." § 2. REPEAL.] All acts and parts of acts in conflict with this act are hereby repealed. § 3. EFFECT WHEN.] That this act shall take effect immediately after its passage and approval. Approved, February 26th, 1889. USURY. CHAPTER 133. EXCESSIVE INTEREST TAKING DECLARED A MISDEMEANOR. AN ACT Making the Taking of Usury a Misdemeanor. 1. MISDEMEANOR.] Every person who directly or indirectly receives any interest, discount or consideration upon the loan or forbearance of any money, goods or things in action greater than is allowed by law is guilty of a misdemeanor. §2. REPEAL.] All acts or parts of acts in conflict with the provisions of this act are hereby repealed. § 3. EFFECT WHEN.] This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval.
