THE PREFACE. HE publishers of the OFFICIAL LAWN TENNIS GUIDE have taken every care to have its contents as near correct as possible, in the hope that it will be valuable as a book of reference. The Guide is always pleased to receive accounts of championship tournaments from any section of the United States and Canada on or before the first of the following year. We draw the attention of publishers of Tennis books, magazines and papers, to the fact that the contents of this Guide is copyrighted; and do not wish the same to be used, especially the pictures, without first getting the consent of the publishers.
