Dante Gabriel Rossetti was a central figure in 19th-century art circles. He is the translator of "The Early Italian Poets" and the author of "Poems and Ballads and Sonnets," Clive Wilmer teaches English at Cambridge University, where he is a Bye-Fellow of Fitzwilliam College, a fellow-commoner of Sidney Sussex College, and an honorary fellow of Anglia Polytechnic University.
