This manual is published for the convenience of persons connected with or interested in the work of the State Board of Labor and Industries. In order to state concisely the laws enforced by this Board, it has been thought best to publish the latest enactments concerning the different features of the work, merely giving reference to the laws which have been amended by such enactments. It is intended to be a complete statement of the labor laws as affecting this department, including the laws enacted by the General Court for the year 1915. The headlines and the sectional headings printed in bold type are not a part of the law, but are used to facilitate easy reference. It should be understood that this manual deals only with those laws which directly or indirectly come within the jurisdiction of the State Board of Labor and Industries.
