44. Rev. xxii. 17-20. S.M. 1 The Spirit in our hearts Is whispering, Sinner, come! The bride, the Church of Christ proclaim To all His children, come. ? Let him that heareth, say Let him that thirsts for righteousness, Yes! whosoever will, Oh let him freely come, And freely drink the stream of life; 4 Lo! Jesus, who invites, Declares, I quickly come;" 1 Hope of our hearts, O Lord, appear, Thou glorious star of day; C.M Shine forth and chase the dreary night, With all our tears, away! 2 Strangers on earth, we wait for Thee; Oh! leave the Father's throne; Come with a shout of victory, Lord, And claim us as Thy own. 3 Oh! bid the bright archangel now, To call Thy saints-the quick, the dead, 4 No resting-place we seek on earth, 5 But, dearest Lord, however bright What is it to the brighter hope 6 What to the joy, the deeper joy, This joy e'en now on earth is ours.
