(7.) Goods Imported for private use. I, A. B., do hereby declare that the * above mentioned is (or are) imported for my own private use, and not by way of merchandise. (8.) A. B. Goods manufactured abroad and imported, bearing the name of a British firm. I, J. C., manager of the firm of that the * do hereby declare bearing their name and address as above mentioned, is (or are) the manufacture of the said firm, and is (or are) consigned to and entered for their account. B., do hereby declare that I took the old British plate above mentioned from this country for my own private use abroad, that it still remains my property, and has not been sold or disposed of to any other person, and that no drawback was received thereon. (11.) For Vessels clearing Outwards in Ballast. British Ship. A. B., master of the ship A. B. doth hereby declare to that he is bound out from the port of in ballast; that he hath not on board, nor will take on board his said ship, any goods, wares, or merchandise whatever, except such stores and provisions as are necessary for the use of the said ship and the people on board thereof, during the said voyage. *Specify the Goods. A. B. do hereby certify that all the requirements of the Act 9 and 10 Vict., c. 100, have been duly complied with. to that he is bound out from the port of in ballast; that he hath not on board, nor will take on board his said ship, any goods, wares, or merchandise whatever, except such stores and provisions as are necessary for the use of the said ship and the people on board thereof, during the said voyage. I, Declaration on delivery of Letters under 3 and 4 Vict., cap. 96. arrived from Commander of the do, as required by law, solemnly declare, that I have,* to the best of my knowledge and belief, delivered, or caused to be delivered, at the Post-office at every Letter, Bag, Package, or Parcel of Letters that were on board the said , except such letters as are exempted by this Act. If the Master of any Ship or Vessel shall wilfully refuse or neglect to make the several declarations by this Act required, or to produce the above declaration, he shall forfeit and pay for every such offence the sum of £50. * When no letters have been brought, the form should be altered to "that I had no letter, bag, package, or parcel of letters on board the said vessel." I declare that the above is a just report of my ship and of her lading, and that the particulars therein inserted are true to the best of my knowledge, and that I have not broken bulk or delivered any goods out of my said ship since her departure from the last foreign place of loading.
