Young THE PRESIDENT: Gentlemen, the meeting will please come to order; all those who have not registered will please do so before leaving the hall; we would like to have all our guests, those who are not members of the Club, register, and at the same time we would like to have all of them make application; everyone is eligible to membership in this Club, even though they are not actually engaged in the railroad service. The aims and objects of this Club are to cultivate the acquaintance of the business men, bringing them together with the railroad men, and bringing the railroad men together with the business man, and to educate everyone up to a higher standard of proficiency. The reason that we are meeting here tonight, gentlemen, is on account of the usual meeting-room at the American Annex Hotel being used for a large convention which has been meeting during several days past; for that reason, the management of the Hotel was unable to give us our usual meeting-place. We trust that all of you will appreciate the surroundings that have been placed at our disposal by the Missouri Athletic Association, and that you will enjoy your evening spent here. The reading of minutes is the next order of business; the minutes have already appeared in print, and if there are no objections or corrections, they will stand approved as printed and forwarded. Hearing no objection, it is so ordered. The next order of business is the election of new members. The Secretary will read the list. ELECTED TO MEMBERSHIP. ACTIVE. Harry C.
