THE PRESIDENT: Gentlemen, the meeting will please come to order; all those who have not registered will please do so.

We would like to have all of the members and guests register, and not only would we like to have the guests register, but would like to have them fill out application cards, before they depart from the meeting tonight.

The Chair is anxious to have those who are not members fill out applications, and if it would please the applicants, they may have the great privilege of handing their applications in to the Chair. (Laughter.)

The Chairman has entered into a contest with one of the most prominent railroad men in this section of the country, a man who represents a very large trunk line, for the purpose of securing new members; of course, as you know, your humble servant represents only a very small line and its employees are few; while the employees of the line his opponent represents are many; therefore, any favors that the guests of tonight see fit to bestow upon the Chair will be highly appreciated.

The minutes of the last meeting having been printed and forwarded to the members, if there are no additions or corrections, they will stand approved as printed. Hearing none, it is so ordered.

The next order of business is the election of new members; the Secretary will read the list.
