THE PRESIDENT: These applications will be presented to the Executive Committee and, in accordance with the By-Laws, will be voted on at our next meeting.

The Chairman of the Topic Committee announces that for our next meeting, to be held in this auditorium on Friday, March 9th, we will have an address by Mr. J. H. Waterman, Superintendent Timber Preservation of the C. B. & Q. R. R. at Galesburg, Ill. It is to be in the nature of a stereopticon or a talk with stereopticon views, the subject being "From Tree to Track." It is his intention also to have some moving pictures showing their tie plant, and I feel satisfied, knowing the reputation of Mr. Waterman on the question of timber preservation, that he will have much of interest to say, and of great value to our membership.

There being no further business, the meeting will now stand adjourned.
