It is proposed to Sell, by Private Contract, the Good-will, Printing Machine, Presses, Types, Stockin-Trade, &c. of the DURHAM ADVERTISER; and the extensive Printing Business lately carried on in connection with it by Messrs. HUMBLE, deceased. The Printing Machine is one of Napier's, of the largest size, and nearly new. Among the Presses will be found an excellent Columbian, Double-royal, and Two Stanhopes. The Types consist of extensive Founts of every size requisite for Newspaper, Book, and Job-Printing; and, as Greek and Hebrew Founts are amongst the Stock, the firm has been enabled to bring out entire Greek Works, and others which require illustrations from these two languages.

THE DURHAM ADVERTISER was established in the year 1814, and has continued up to the present time, enjoying a most respectable circulation, both as regards the class of its readers and number of the

copies sold weekly. It was enlarged in March 1848; and has since that date been gradually and securely

extending in circulation.

The Printing Business embraces a very extensive connection; and a considerable amount of Book-work is executed in the office. The Job-Printing must likewise be specified at all times considerable, it has lately increased, and will admit of further extension.

The late Senior Proprietor enjoyed the honour and privilege of University Printer up to the period of his death, eighteen months since. The entire University Printing is still executed at this office.
