SENATE CHAMBER, OLYMPIA, WASHINGTON, Monday January 9, 1899.
12 o'clock noon. The sixth Senate of the State of Washington assembled at the Senate chamber, in the state capitol, pursuant to law, at 12 o'clock noon, this day. Lieutenant Governor Thurston Daniels, ex officio president of the fifth Senate, called the Senate to order.
The Secretary of State, Will D. Jenkins, read the following communications: STATE OF WASHINGTON, DEPARTMENT OF STATE,
