The Managers have the pleasure of informing the policy- (SILVERED by PATENT PROCESS with RED BACK), holders that the quinquennial division of the society's profits has been made, and that an option can now be exercised either to receive the bonus in cash or apply it to increase the sum assured or reduce the premium equivalently.

The cash bonuses on policies which have been in force more than four years average a return to the policy holders equal to more than one annual premium and a half.

Assurances effected before Midsummer next will participate in the full five years' bonus at the next division of profits. The new prospectus, containing important alterations, will be forwarded on application.

J. G. PRIESTLEY, Actuary.

Which, owing to its bright colour and cleanliness, is mostly adapted for looking glasses of small proportions. The silvering is guaranteed to be first-rate, and to stand any time and climate.

The PRICE, per square foot-silvered-is 51d., sent packed in boxes, cut in any size to order, but not above 30 in. by 18 in. Orders cannot be executed for less than 1,000 square feet. Time for delivery required-four to six weeks.

THRALE HALL STREATHAM.

Thrale Hall is one of the most cheerful residences in the neighbourhood of London. Situated
within a quarter of an hour of Ludgate Hill, Victoria, and London Bridge, it offers to residents every
convenience of easy access to London, combined with pure country bracing air. Thrale Hall is the old
residence of Mrs. Thrale, modernised and enlarged, and its old associations with Dr. Johnson endear it
to every reader of the English Language. It is now converted into a large Private Hotel, and receives
Aisitors, by the week or day, at the most reasonable prices.

The House contains nearly forty Bedrooms, all elegantly furnished; also Dining, Drawing, and
Reading Rooms, the latter supplied with all the best newspapers and periodicals published in London.
Turkish and Electric Baths have been erected on the premises on the most complete scale, and are open
to visitors at a small cost. In the winter time Dances and Balls are given at regular intervals, and in
summer the extensive lawn and grounds are rendered available for Garden Parties.

The Provisions are always abundant and of the finest quality. The dinner hour is 7, except on
