THIS BOOK comprifes the Laws refpecting LAND; ADVOWSONS; TITHES; COMMONS; RENTS; ANNUITIES; and other Species of REAL PROPERTY.

The SECOND Book, (which is partly printed) will comprehend the Nature and Incidents of the Several Eftates and Interefts which may be had in such Property.

The THIRD will treat of the Injuries of which those Eftates and Interefts are fufceptible, with the Means of Redreffing them.

The FOURTH will comprise the legal and equitable Doctrines relative to the nature and conftruction of the diffrent fpecies of Deeds and other Affurances, confidered as the means of transferring Real Property from one Perfon to another. And in

The FIFTH will be confidered, The law of Forfeitures, and of Defcents, or the Mode in which Eftates and Interests will descend or be tranfmiffible on the involuntary dereliction, or the deceafe of the owner.

The progrefs of the above work has been impeded in a greater degree than the author expected, by the time he has found it neceffary to bestow upon the MS. precedents of the late Mr. POWELL, preparatory to their publication; but as thefe have now nearly passed through his hands, he trufts no material delay will hereafter occur in prefenting the Profeffion with ONE PART every SIX WEEKS, till the whole is completed in THREE VOLUMES.
