This morning we will hear from the Air Force on title III of the military construction authorization request. The Air Force is requesting $730,233,000 in new project authority, which includes $437 million for one project, the Aeropropulsion Systems Test Facility at Tullahoma, Tenn. General Gilbert is our principal witness and we will proceed first with the general Air Force programs and then at about 11 a.m. we will call in some outside witnesses to testify regarding the proposed jet engine test facility. As is our regular procedure, the record will contain a complete justification for each project. We may have additional questions to be submitted to the Air Force to answer for the record.
