Series

Geography

By W. F. MORRIS, B.A., F.R.G.S.

Geography Lecturer, University College, Reading; Headmaster, St. John's School,
Reading.

This series presents the geography of certain areas to children
in a simple but scientific manner. The books are essentially
class books. With sympathetic guidance from the Teacher
and with the help of a good atlas children should be able
to follow and understand them for themselves. They are well
fitted for use as "self study" books, and so conform to
modern methods of education. The earlier chapters deal
with the main facts of the physical surroundings in which the
inhabitants of the area studied find themselves. The later
chapters apply these principles to the natural divisions into
which that area may be split up. In this way man's de-
pendence on, or his independence of, physical conditions
is emphasized.
