THE COURT FOR THE TRIAL OF THE IMPEACHMENTS $18,000 00 Is composed of the President of the Senate, the Senators and the Judges of the Court of Appeals. THE COURT OF APPEALS Consists of eight Judges. Four are elected on a general ticket, and serve eight years, and four are selected from Justices of the Supreme Court having the shortest time to serve. The Judge, of the four chosen at large, having the shortest term to serve, acts as Chief Judge. Six Judges constitute a quorum. This Court is composed of the following named Judges: E. Peshine Smith, Rochester, State Reporter, $2,000. George E. Baker, Albany, Deputy Clerk, $1,200. The Judges of the Court of Appeals from the Supreme Court are taken this year from the odd numbered districts. Their terms all expire in 1850. TERMS.-There are four terms of this Court, commencing at Albany, 1st Tuesday of January, 4th Tuesday of March, 3d Tuesday of June, and 4th Tuesday of September.
