And he that searcheth the hearts, knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. (Ephes. vi. 18. See above.) Jude 20, 21. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Thus I fell down before the Lord as at the first; because the Lord had said, he would destroy you. Job i, 20. Then Job arose and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground and worshipped. Ezek. ix. 8. SECTION VI.

1 Cor. xiv. 1, 2. Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophecy. Thy wrath lieth hard upon me, and thou hast afflicted me with all thy waves. Thy fierce wrath goeth over me; thy terrors have cut me off. Rom. i. 18. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness. 1 Pet. iv. 17, 18.
