Hirt's New Conversational Wall Pictures

PRICE OF EACH PICTURE (HEIGHT, 43 inches; WIDTH, 55 inches) 6s. 6d. net. (See reduced specimen on following pages).

[blocks in formation]

The above New Pictures possess the following advantages:1. The details have been carefully grouped in accordance with the recom mendations and suggestions of experienced and practical teachers. Numerous testimonials from important educational authorities certify as to the excellence of the Pictures both from the artistic and the educational points of view.

2. The Pictures are not mere photographic reproductions but are original compositions compiled and specially drawn on the stone by the artist himself and lithographed under his personal supervision.

3. The exceptionally large size of these Pictures enable the many details to be seen distinctly from any part of the class-room. Wall charts of unusual dimensions are generally printed in two or more sectional sheets, and difficulties in consequence frequently arise in joining the colours and the sheets in exact juxtaposition. This objection is overcome in the present series, as each Picture is printed on one whole sheet.

4. The Pictures, though containing abundance of Conversational Material, are, in no instance overburdened with details, whilst the scenery and ensenable are arranged with due artistic effect.

5. The price, in proportion to the size and artistic value is comparatively very low.

The above Pictures can likewise be had in a small size, about 8 inches by 5 inches, for private study and home preparation. Price of each Picture (reduced size), in stiff paper, zd. net; or the complete set of 8 Pictures, in paper portfolio, is. net.
